TBPB: tert-Butyl Peroxybenzoate Initiator

TBPB (tert-Butyl Peroxybenzoate) is a high-temperature organic peroxide initiator for curing unsaturated polyester resins in heated moulding and continuous processes.

Key Features

• Effective initiator at elevated moulding temperatures
• Good pot life at ambient temperature, with fast cure when heated
• Gives consistent, repeatable cure in hot processes

Applications

• SMC, DMC and BMC compression moulding
• Pultrusion and other heated-die processes

Handling: Organic peroxide. Store cool and away from heat, contamination and accelerators, and follow the Safety Data Sheet.
